STS PHILIPPINES, Manila – While the news of Xiaomi’s comeback in the Philippines is still fresh (I mean, just yesterday), some of you might have noticed another Xiaomi store being prepped-up in SM Megamall, covered in Mi tarpaulins and is along the mall’s Cyberzone section (pictured above).
Now, we obtained information that the said store will open next month. While we don’t have any substantial evidence right now to prove, Revu reports that they’ve spoken up with a Xiaomi executive that says they’re opening the SM Megamall store this March, and also noted that another source told them that it is going to open in March 3.

Grimalkin Corporation, the company behind Xiaomi’s presence here in the Philippines, is the primary distributor of Xiaomi’s products here in the country.
It might be safe to say that the products that are sold in the recently-opened Trinoma Mall store will be also sold on its SM Megamall counterpart. Notably, these products will come at a cheaper price compared to its online selling counterparts.
While Xiaomi intends to continue selling its products on eCommerce sites such as Lazada, Shopee and etc., nothing still beats a brick-and-mortar store where people can actually test first the products before buying.
For reference, here are some of the products that are available in the first authorized Xiaomi store in Trinoma:

We wish that Xiaomi’s comeback will be for the better. Lastly, we’re eyeing for some cool gadgets there such as the robot vacuum and the cheap 4K smart TV.
